If everyone is seemingly moving to Web-based forges because of accessibility and popularity, shouldn't we take this direction seriously and make effort to standardise federation (#ForgeFed)? I can imagine how email simply limits certain Web-forge features we take for granted.
Also, Discord is ultimate BLOAT. Mumble should suffice just fine.
@brettgilio@mstdn.social Also, your banner's bottom padding/margin seems off here.

Nice draft.
Thoughts on NestedText? I think they are similar in terms of simpicity. I see yours as more clearly defined and forgiving.

@Automata Reddit has indeed become a bloat monster.
Fortunately we have federated alternatives already. Hopefully they'll grow.
I have a dream
that blogs and websites will adopt the CSS @media query `prefers-color-scheme`
so I don't have to load a million lines of a bloated JavaSh** plugin to force a dark mode, and spare my eyes and RAM.

I implemented a CSS minifier in my ssg using
. I'd use POSIX sed but I don't know how to turn of greediness when removing comments, or remove newlines.
Also lol my style.css reduced by ~40%.
https://vim.org needs an update. It's so ad hoc, non-responsive and boomer. Emacs' page exhibits basic design principles. We should do better, @bram@moolenaar.net
@andybalaam Nope, just recognised you from your (great) YouTube channel
@andybalaam
Didn't know you were on the Fediverse. A pleasant surprise lol. And great recommendation!
Just learnt about scheme-relative URLs. My site's source is much more aesthetic now mwahaha.

I know I'm not the only autist who browses other's raw cluttered/pristine HTML. Fess up.
