I hope Steam will have some cool meta game event going this winter sale, which is supposed to start this evening. Some of the events in the past were kind of amusing, and it's something to waste time on.

Bluh, I'm pretty much underwhelmed. Steam didn't do anything except recycle its cards and badges from last year and with even less effort. ๐
Apparently the theme is 'birds' (seeing their animated sticker freebies), but you wouldn't have guessed that at all from looking at their front page.
The only things they bothered with is adding stuff that can be bought via their points store. Some of those are useful, but I really hoped for some fun meta game event or something to interact with.
