People romanticize animals a bit too much. They're just survival mode most of the time... That's nature.

Right, poor little thing. Yet it was nice to think for a while that animals could be that kind.

But as you say, that's nature, neither good nor bad. I think things like this happen all the time, we just don't see them often (and that's a good thing).

One doesn't make a trend. But yes, those things happen. It's Mother Nature, and I guess we'll never really understand everything. Who knows, maybe that lioness was waiting until that oryx became big and fat for xmas. 😂
