Well, what's it called when you kind of steal someone else's idea and kind of springboard off it and write your own post based on their post?
Should it be called spring-tooting? (or spring-posting)
Or just plagiarism?
@lydiaconwell Huh, I always wondered wth subtooting was. Still not entirely sure if I understand it.
@trinsec Sub-posting is when you don't reply to a post but refer to it indirectly in another post. It's the social media version of talking about someone behind their back.
Like if I didn't reply to you here but instead tooted separately: 'It so annoys me when people don't even know what subtooting is!'
@lydiaconwell Ah, thanks for explaining! I probably wouldn't recognize that it's actually a subtoot 90% of the time.
