I'm super excited: I received print proof prototypes for Pepper&Carrot book 4. In English from DriveThrucomics and in French from Glénat, the two almost in sync. They both looks perfect! 😸 They'll be available at the same time next week, I'm working on the release.

@davidrevoy How come you made them different covers for each? :)

@trinsec The différence comes from Glénat: they hired a graphist in 2016 to design their own title and cover 'receipe'. Since book 1, they continue now on the same branding. But it's a closed/proprietary font. So, when I decided to make my own publishing 100% FLOSS with Scribus and self-publishing via print-on-demand/DriveThruComics, I decided to use the font artworks I made, with a golden yellow embossing. This way, the cover are keeping a difference.

@davidrevoy I can totally understand the font difference there. But even the images are somewhat different. :) There are subtle differences between the actual artworks themselves.

@trinsec True, I removed the tail of the dragon on my English version! I forgot about that. That's because on the English version, the dragon continues into the back-cover and the tail is painted on the back. You have good eyes!

@davidrevoy To me it sounds like the English version looks cooler if it continues on the back!
