They come from a culture which only has two words in its language: ibb and obb, where ibb means 'good' and obb means 'great'.
When things are bad the best they can do it describe them as 'ibb' and when things are just mildly favourable, the best they can do it over exaggerate and describe it as 'obb' so that people don't think they're saying it's bad if they use 'ibb'.
If something is great, then, of course, 'obb' is used but there is no way of telling how great it really is ...
