I think it's handled swiftly, with lots of user control.

What I wonder is: Do the #corporate owned sites deliberately make it difficult to stop bad content?

They seem to allow white supremacists, alt-right, etc. and do very little to stop them.

Is that deliberate to keep people addicted?

@lydiaconwell Conflict creates interaction (of the not so nice kind, but still interaction) means people keep coming back to argue.

Completely a bonkers way of socialising if you ask me.

@trinsec Yes. I was reading articles about fake news and that's precisely why the main sites do little to stop it. It makes people come back for more.

@trinsec @lydiaconwell This right here, Twitter seems to thrive off conflict and controversy. And their algorithms do too.
