When you squeeze too much toothpaste out onto your toothbrush, what do you do?

@urusan I'm just wondering how the heck one can put the paste back in the tube...

@trinsec@qoto.org @urusan@fosstodon.org if you pull a vacuum around the tube you can cause the tupe to suck the paste back in.

@logan @urusan I guess with a plastic tube that might work, albeit not that easily. With a metal tube I don't think that'll be possible at all.

@trinsec@qoto.org @urusan@fosstodon.org if you can push on the tube to cause the toothpaste to come out than you can also pull on the tube to cause it to go back in.

@trinsec At least for some tubes, you can just release pressure on the tube and it'll suck some back in.

@logan @urusan Lol!

Though that's a plastic tube... I'm still wondering if a very mangled metal tube would still be able to suck up everything neatly.

@trinsec@qoto.org @urusan@fosstodon.org it most likely would, as i said, if your capable of pushing it out than it will be able to be sucked back in.

unless your doing something very odd like idk, maybe your spot welding the tube as you go along.

@logan @urusan Lol, spot welding the tube.

But I don't have welding equipment around me. Funnily enough I also don't have a vacuum setup near me either... so I can test out neither!
