I've just arrived. Not really a twitter deserter as I haven't written there for ages but interested in alternatives to the social media platforms that don't focus on content and information. Is this a good place to find these?
@joseortiz Well, this particular server is a STEM-focused server, so there actually might be a lot of content and information in the local feed. 😅
Though probably not of the kind you encounter on Twitter.

@joseortiz Or might I have misread the implication of your sentence and you actually meant that you wanted a social media that differs from social media -that doesn't focus on- content and information? Heh, I could interpret it 2 ways, sorry.

@trinsec The words 'alternatives' to 'content' and 'information' are far enough in my sentence to enable misinterpretation... I meant I'm looking for content and information focus networks rather than narcissistic enclaves, if that makes sense.
