Is there any way to persuade the Federated timeline to only load the most recent fifty (or whatever) toots when I click the "xxxx new items" button? If I haven't touched it for a while and I come back to 4,800 new toots, trying to load them crashes my browser.
I can't work out how to reset it to an "I just opened this and it just loaded the few most recent" state, other than completely closing my browser.
@trinsec Yeah, that's what I thought, but it keeps track of the toots that were already loaded
