I just finished #GuillermoDelToro 's #Pinocchio and gosh. It was BEAUTIFUL. I cried for like two hours. Highly recommend. ♥

@paradisewreck Heh I just finished it as well, and while not quite crying for two hours I did cry at the end as well.

@paradisewreck I found it terribly sad. I really don't know if it's great or not. Maybe it is because it evoked such feelings in me.

@trinsec oh, sure, it was incredibly sad. But it felt right. I'm not sure. But it felt very impactful I guess.

@paradisewreck It definitely was, in a weird way. I'm so used to the Disney version in general that this was... refreshingly different.

But then, that's Guillermo's thing I guess. I'd seen Pan's Labyrinth as well, and that was so totally weird and different. I should watch that again.

@trinsec that's right. Guillermo is not scared to give us a sad ending which I appreciate.

Oh, I have yet to see Pan's Labyrinth! 🤔 But I hear great things.
