#Mastodon should include text formatting like 𝘐𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘴 and 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗱 as standard.
There should be little buttons on this typey window thing that you write your toots into.
@lydiaconwell It would be good if Mastodon supported formatting, but using Unicode characters like that is not a good solution as it makes the text completely inaccessible for screen reader users

Yeah I can see that. Markdown would have been the perfect solution.
