What actually is inedible?

@lydiaconwell Mmm, I don't think 'inedible' is the same as 'can be put in your mouth'.
@trinsec Well, is a tree inedible? You can cut it up into small chunks.
@lydiaconwell I don't think humans gain anything by eating a tree, it doesn't feed them. Just fill the stomach with tree pieces that can't be digested. So I'd say that's not edible. You can eat it, sure, but it'd be useless.

@lydiaconwell Air's not nutritions, so I'd say no. Air does contain part that's necessary to live (oxygen) but.. that's not a nutrition to digest in your stomach.
