is being caused by human activities such as mining & burning fuels. Therefore, it's nonsense for people to think that the solution to mitigate change is to do more of the problem.

For example, the crazy idea of building machines to "suck" or "capture" CO2 out of the atmosphere will require more resources (mining) & power to construct & power the crazy CO2 sucking machines.

The "solutions" can't be doing more of the business as usual problems.

@Empiricism_Reloaded I think we need to plant more trees. That's the most ridiculously easy way to get rid of the excess carbon in the atmosphere.

@trinsec

I read you enjoy gaming. Me too!

What are your thoughts about using less resources & power so as to make gaming more sustainable?

@Empiricism_Reloaded Absolutely no clue as I don't really think about that. Though I think people could do with making the game files less ridiculously huge so you need less storage space? Optimization would help in needing less of everything.

Also trying to reduce 'throwaway-consoles' would help. Old PCs can still play good games. And possibly even more if aforementioned optimization takes place. A videocard of 3-4 generations ago is -still- working well now. I have a GTX970 and a GTX1060.. I don't get the hype for the GTX4xxx's. Some people go too far with wanting the newest of the newest at any time. They don't even do shit with that.

@Empiricism_Reloaded I guess I did have some thoughts after all, whoops. ;)
