A sad day for our family. It's becoming clear that our 16 year old cat Mingus is deteriorating.
Mingus has been with us since near the beginning of our marriage, is older than our children, and it's hard to imagine our home without him. He was a crazed and pretty rough-playing kitten for about 10 years but was remarkably sweet with the babies when they came, and in his later years transformed into an affectionate lap cat.
