Just realized that Steam just revamped their Big Picture mode to make it more in line with the experience on Steam Deck.
So if you’re wanting a console experience on a PC, this is the way to go.

@atomicpoet There's one thing I still miss from the old Steam UI. 2 incarnations ago at least, I believe:
Be able to select multiple groups and only get results that matches all of those groups.
If I wanted to play a turn-based space game (yes I have many categories), it's kinda troublesome to get them listed properly.
I understand the old Big Picture allowed for this but for the life of me I can't manage this with the current incarnation.
