Isn't the war on Ukraine the perfect depiction of why nuclear power is so dangerous, even if used solely for civilian purposes?
How so?
As wars happen and empires fall, management and monitorizarion of nuclear facilites risks failure.
I would find out how often in History a nuclear plant has changed hands quickly, to a much more unreliable owner.
What is “this”? #Chernobyl is inactive. Has any active reactor fallen in the hands of the Russians already?
Even if/when they do: I doubt the Russians will be more unreliable or reckless as managers than the Ukrainians.
@tripu
Chernobyl still has to be managed. And fighting was reported near another one.
It is not about who is more reckless or unreliable. Catastrophic accidents can happen in a war scenario.
