@ndw I think it’s an interesting statement, especially given the author’s criticism of Shutterstock.

@true_mxp As near as I can tell, these AI tools are aggregating a bunch of work from authors, photographers, painters, and other craftspeople to create derivative works that couldn’t exist without the craftspeople but provide no remuneration or other support for their efforts. But I could be wrong. I’m just grumpy about the whole endeavor.

@ndw I agree it's problematic. I posted the quote because I guess it nicely illustrates why this development is unavoidable.
