@ct_bergstrom I did a double take when I saw that one of the "nemesis birds" was a varied thrush! Even I've seen one, and I'm not exactly an avid (or competent) birder.
Do you have one?

@twitskeptic I don't have a particular nemesis bird for spotting as yet.
For photographing, belted kingfishers. Nothing is that beautiful and skittish at the same time.
I also thought it was funny about the varied thrush. Though actually, the bird pictured here in the upper falcon's talons with my first varied thrush sighting.
