#Microsoft turns off Basic authentication for #mail, and you have to use #OAuth2. It’s not exactly straightforward, but there are open source solutions (see, e.g., https://www.reddit.com/r/emacs/comments/jreehr/imap_and_smtp_oauth2_configuration_for_office_365/), which in theory allow you to continue using #Emacs for mail.
But! This requires that you have access to the #Azure registration app to obtain OAuth2 secrets. But I don’t—so I guess I’m hosed!?
