@freemo Oh I meant it was unlikely to be explicitly blocked after just having being created.
Anyway, turns out I can't follow others from here, so it's a more general issue!

@freemo So it turns out I can follow these accounts using the web interface. The problem appears to be with Tusky when using my qoto.org account. I've opened a discussion thread (https://github.com/tuskyapp/Tusky/discussions/2276) to see if there's an issue. Cheers.

I just followed them without any problem. Most likely they have you blocked if you cant follow them (the follow button would be disabled).
