A box of PMC Bronze .380 is $66 at LGS. No problem with availability at that price.
@gat a year ago I could have ordered a case of Fiocchi .380 JHP for an average of well under $20 per box of 50. Everything has changed in that realm in the past year.

@valleyforge In a word, yes. But caveats exist. The expansion of .380 requires a bespoke projectile and the resulting wound channel is smaller than the one left by a 9mm bullet. This also assumes that the maker of the bullet aims for the same standard 12" penetration in the standard gel.

That's the theory, but it's only a 90 or 95 grain hollow point. A test series someone did showed that it will, and I don't have somewhere to replicate it for myself yet
