Hot take:
A DA/SA pistol takes about the same time to fire a first shot as a single action with a manual safety if you have any amount of practice
@valleyforge my hot take on that is that the DA shot is a wild waste for most people in an emergency and shouldn't count when considering how fast the shot gets off

@leyonhjelm With practice the first double action shot can be about as accurate as the rest. It just takes longer
