Meaning steal case 223/5.56 is going to dry up and brass ammo prices are goiing to the moon.
Russian ammo makes up 40% of ammunition in the US, and was the only thing keeping prices down expect hella price hikes.

I don't think this is true. It might be 40% of 7.62x39 or 7.62x54r but it can't be 40% of all ammo
@valleyforge @splitshockvirus a lot of low income and collectors have cheap combloc pistols and/or an SKS so it doesn't sound out of the realm of possibility. Virtually every gun owner I know at least has a tokarev or SKS. When other milsurp skyrocketed in price the old commie stuff lagged behind significantly and was still affordable up until recently
