@valleyforge I hear the quality problems were mostly fixed. You will not find new CCPs with holes in the slides where machining was done incorrectly anymore. But the design problems were not fixed. Of particular concern is the design of the striker block that only blocks it in battery.
@valleyforge Personally I don't like how dirty a gas-delay system is. It taps gas at too high a pressure, so it drops more carbon as it cools than gas tapped close to a muzzle of a rifle. In HK P7 this problem was masked by how soon it became intolerably hot, so nobody could shoot it enough to get it jammed. I hope it's an overblown concern for the sake of Laugo Alien.
@gat thats true that it usually means it gets too hot and dirty too quickly to be a competition pistol but for a ccw pistol I dont think those are too much of a concern
