@valleyforge Indeed, I thought that the low magazine capacity of S&W 380EZ was a significant downside. This is better.
But Security 380 has some weird features, too. For one, the safety blocks the slide, and narrator in Ruger's own video says it helps holstering. Evidently the recoil spring is so light that it interferes with holstering.
Also, not having an optics cut in 2022 is just unacceptable. I understand that Security-9 slide is very busy with all the holes and pins on top, so it cannot be just machined flat and called good. But if Beretta can put optics on the 92, surely Ruger could do something.

@valleyforge I think it's more likely to expect a plate that just sits on two screws on top, like on Ruger 57.
