@sn0wbl1nd absolutely!
@vancew just arrived!
@afernandezphd @bissette @heydebigale I’m trying to lure her over to Mastodon. Her positive nerdy energy feels right for this platform!
@vancew @bissette @heydebigale She makes lots of really great chemistry-themed items. I have a number of coasters and magnets.
@bissette @heydebigale They’re by a Toronto artist: www.ChemistTree.com (she’s also on Twitter)
@disc @freckled @EveryWhereChem happy to!
@freckled Now let's see if this works :)
Hi @vancew and @EveryWhereChem ,
mind giving @freckled a boost?
@heydebigale here!
@heydebigale I’m definitely happy to be part of this new #chemistry #realtimechem #chemtwitter #chemtoots community!
@isabellawangbc welcome!!
@peonor Still trying to work out the visibility side of Mastodon!
After a couple of days on #Mastodon I’m very impressed & excited to be part of this growing community! #mastodonmigration
My only humble suggestion is that it needs more #tardigrades aka "water bears."
Tardigrades have survived every mass #extinction on Earth since they evolved about a 1/2 billion years ago. There are ~1,300 known species. And millions of years from now, they won’t even notice we’re gone.
@inspired These are droplets of a liquid crystal forming from an isotropic ("normal") liquid.
@inspired Thanks for the suggestions-- it's interesting to learn about the norms and practices on a new site! The use of captioning certainly makes for a more inclusive environment.
