Talking with liberals makes me want to fucking scream.
Given our area of activism, we try to build bridges in communities that have extra high fash activity, especially when angled at schools and youth.
So instead of giving libs the finger, we do *try* to educate gently and try to get them to see the harm they might be causing.
Which almost always results in them responding that their intent is more important than their impact, especially in regards to language.
Slurs for Sex Workers
Actually calling a RW politician a whore, prostitute, or lady of the night IS shaming sex workers and is actively harmful to sex workers, regardless of what you meant (which I assume was that the politician is a slimy grifter)
This conversation started because the Lib was mad because they implied the politician was a whore and was blocked for it. 😑
Then there was the whole conversation with this same little group of libs from a certain local town calling a rw grifter journalist a “vagrant” and not understanding why that was problematic and then throwing a fit over some truly gentle pushback and discussion and blocking us.
Like y’all need to grow the fuck up if you want to fight off the fascists invading your town like you say you do.
