I am slowly learning that lesson. It has been just so damn addicting. I am trying really hard to stick to mastadon, but there is not as much interesting stuff happening on here.

@TheLunarPierce @alexwinter@mastodon.social I notice that some instances use heavy moderation banning any divergent thoughts and opinions so the instance turn to an echo chamber and the content posted become stale.
@voidabyss @TheLunarPierce @alexwinter If you should happen to find yourself on an instance that isn't connected to most of the rest of Mastodon, luckily you can move. No harm, no foul. I mean, Gab is a Mastodon instance, it's just blocked by so many other instances they've been walled off from being able to spread their hate around.
@voidabyss @TheLunarPierce @alexwinter Unless your account is on a server that is banned by or bans every other server, this doesn’t happen. You can see people from other servers. Your server/instance is just where your account resides.
