Maybe its time to 'do wikipedia' on the #fediverse
What does that mean?
What features would that entail, what would the user experience look like, etc?

maybe topical instances,a lot of dependence on hashtags, server update notifications via activity pub
it would look a lot more static, be topically focussed, and user identity and activity rather more defoussed.

Hmmm, I could see #wikipedia setting up an instance that would be focused on just discussing ongoing edits and conversation.
I'd subscribe to that instance!

Nah I don't want to set up a mastodon instance for wikipedia.
I was thinking more in terms of a wiki on the fediverse protocol(s)
