I am on the mailing list for one of New York City's local sex parties (I mean who isn't) and it is honestly shocking to me in an era when rapid tests are freely available that people organizing events like these are not requiring them for admission.

I imagine part of the reason is just the high rate of false negatives of the rapid tests make them a bit unreliable for that use case.
I say this in part just to remind people that the rapid tests have such a high false negative rate.
