Yes, change is slow and almost always incremental. Did you see @DWTSquawk7600 ’s post? Their state tweaked the law, and perhaps other states can try using similar approaches. The guys in the back rooms will do their darndest to protect their wealthy associates, but they’ll often run parallel with developing (compromised) legislation sufficiently to quell public objections until (they hope) the Overton window passes by.
