While I was on vacation last week, I started thinking about what else #fediverse could be used for. One interesting thought was about a federated @signalapp . What would that look like? How much data does signal need to keep for the user? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Do you mean a person to person app with high security?
Fediverse is probably not the right platform for that, as it's really focused on broadcasting content widely and publicly.
