Finally, #NPR pauses postings to its 52 accounts on the #Birdsite due to being mislabeled by the prominent #governmentFunded #protofascist who bought the #Birdsite recently:

Said protofascist also undermined the credibility of other news outlets like #BBC & #PBS by mislabeling the work of their journalists.
It remains to be seen when the news outlets learn their lessons, and set up their own #Fediverse instances.

They labeled the accounts more accurately, and following established labeling practices elsewhere.
NPR seems to be just jumping on a bandwagon regardless of fact, which is part of the whole trend of journalistic institutions losing credibility in the eyes of the general public these days.

I consider the points #NPR makes on their website about the #mislabeling by the #Birdsite as all legit.
As every experienced #journalist would do, they don't stick to #Textualism and the letters of the labels, but ask for the intent of the labeling, thereby arriving at the insight that the labeling is a mislabeling.
