No that's factually false. If you pull up the documents directly from the legislature, they were not punished for peaceful protests.
They were punished for breaking the rules that they themselves had already agreed to, and so the accountability that they also agreed to was triggered.
You can't just stand in the way of the democratic process without facing any consequences.
No justice? No peace.
Know justice. Know peace.
GTFOH with the pearl clutching calls for civility while they legislate away people's lives, family, and friends.
What in the world are you going on about?
Yelling bumper sticker slogans doesn't get anybody anywhere. In fact it helps promote injustice by distracting from realities.
Sure, you're welcome to bash people for not comprehending whatever point you're trying to make, but in the end if you want to convince people of your perspective, whatever that is, you do have to communicate effectively.
Or else why bother trying?
So maybe a different bumper sticker slogan will get your point across? Maybe you just haven't found the right one yet? Want to try again?
Ha! What dog whistle? I strongly suspect that you don't realize my screen name is an extremely nerdy Star Trek reference :-)
But now I'm curious as to what significant misinterpretation you have for about it?
@volkris @mstrmustache @DrALJONES Funny that I understood exactly what point Mr. Mustache was trying to make just fine. Also funny that you resort to *clears throat with pompous decorum* "hindering the democratic process". And actually hilarious that you devalue and diminish their activism to bumper sticker slogans.
I simply cannot stop laughing! Worthy of a circus.
I am glad you are so amused at the hindering of the democratic process.
Perhaps we shall have more of it to keep you entertained for the next season of the reality TV show!
@volkris Don't get me wrong, boo, the real show is in the comment section of social media defending the abuse of power!
Your *classic* juggling act of people's human rights in favor of the status quo while masquerading as a lawful citizen is exquisite. It's truly worthy of Cirque du Soleil and I want front-row seats.
But it's not an interesting show.
People spouting out slogans that were tired the day they were invented is just boring, the same old nonsense.
@volkris It's sarcasm broski, read between all the lines
@volkris @mstrmustache @DrALJONES
If the US followed decorum in the forum it would not exist ,Even then if gentlemen's rules of war were followed Americans would have stood in uniform & fought with honour, but they
were terrorists breaking all laws cowardly snipping from the woods old chap. Such bad taste.
When lawfully drawn laws are used to enable injustice there is no law at all.
HItler broke no laws. Charles Mason went to jai l& hurt no one.When laws become chains Justice reigns
@volkris @DrALJONES
Kiddo; I have no doubt that I am never gonna convince any "volk" of anything. I have an entirely different experience for anyone with that dogwhistle. My words are for those who might see yours as some sort valid standpoint (it isn't).
