After talking about it with my Patreon supporters, and here on Mastodon, I decided to stop publishing to Odysee. I wrote a short blog post about the reasons, and the options people have to keep watching outside of YouTube if they want to:

It's not a decision everyone will agree with, but it's the one I'm comfortable with.
Well what is the major cost? Storage? Bandwidth? Processing?
Maybe there are ways for users to make in-kind donations too.
@volkris @bloodaxe I personally contribute to the instance I use through their Patreon, but I don’t know if that’s enough to cover the costs generated by my being there. My quota in there is close to full, so we’ll have to reassess quickly to see how to move forward, as I don’t really want to host my own instance (I already lack time to maintain all my own servers 😅)
