From the US myth category:
One of the great myths in the US is that the Supreme Court is a legitimate arbiter of laws and the constitution. A corresponding myth is that the Supreme Court is a non political body.
It is a true statement that the Supreme Court exists only so long as we choose to believe those two myths. And, the Supreme Court exists only as long as we choose to accept and abide by their decisions.
There is nothing that can compel us to accept and abide by their decisions. We can simply ignore them. Yes, the DOJ could attempt to compel compliance with a SCOTUS decision.
The shameful SCOTUS affirmative action decision should be universally ignored by colleges and universities and the DOJ should support ignoring the court.
This Supreme Court is fundamentally broken and illegitimate. Their decisions are clearly made based on extreme political and religious views and cannot be trusted.
