What law do you think they aren't obeying?
So you don't know yourself?
Well jokes aside, I am asking you personally, because you leveled the accusation. I don't want to go ask one of them, I am curious what you think.
I read what they think. I wonder what you think.
@volkris @makkhorn
I dug in on "volkris's" timeline so no one else has to.
It doesn't take long to get to the right-wing shit-poster content, replete with "their/they're/there" confusion.
Thomas was just "vacationing with friends..." etc.
Lots of legal opinion with no bona fides or any trace of where he's getting it from. Lots of "SCOTUS isn't AcTuAlLy conservative" sophistry.
Basic garbage-pile rhetoric mixed with tortuous "maverick" logic.
Recommend blocking.
Great sleuthing!
But... do you have any actual responses other than misframing me personally as a righwinger?
Any actual arguments to present?
I mean, surely you wouldn't be ceding the rational high ground to rightwingers, yeah?
I sure hope they're not the best we can do as a society.
@Bwheatnyc @volkris @makkhorn
This guy does not care. See my response above. It's a shit-poster account.
@DoesntExist @Bwheatnyc @volkris@qoto.org Thank you. . Blocked
@makkhorn @Bwheatnyc
Happy to do a PSA. He follows a standard pattern:
"I don't like talking politics and I'm outside the standard American political spectrum and I identify as super liberal, but... logic dictates that far-right ideas are the correct ones so I'm just being reasonable."
It's a playbook. He's almost good at it.
In the end, he attacks Biden, PBS, the EPA, etc... defends Musk, Thomas, SCOTUS, etc.
Claims that those were against the law of the land have been pretty definitively debunked, though.
I know, it made for good headlines, but it's just not reality.
@volkris I’d have to refer you to justice Jackson's dissent. Or Sotomeyer's dissent.
