The US government, by definition, had no choice but to respect the votes of the electors.
The downside of democratic systems is that sometimes the people vote badly.
That doesn't mean we should throw out the ideas of democracy, or sue the government over the votes of our neighbors.

On other side is tht a person holding our highest office fr 4yrs has yet to be brought to justice/held accountable for his collusion w/ a foreign govt to be elected thru the proliferation of disinformation...which is actually the 2nd of our error's on top of the 1st...our lack of any social media regulation...bt Congress does't want to rock the stock mkt boat. So now we have large pop of people org'd under conspiracy theories plus 3 SC judges excising our liberties 1 by 1.
