Just saw another very pointed anti-#Mastodon post from a #FireFish user. I have no emotional stake in either software but I am really interested to understand why calckey/firefish users put so much emphasis on how much better their favorite software is compared to others. This seems really rather specific to the #Calckey community, in particular the sharpness of wording (i.e. quote from lead developer: 'Mastodon is ugly', or from users: 'it's boring, ancient, outdated, sluggish, stone age'...).

I imagine it's just the standard motivation of an underdog barking to get attention for the one they favor.
