to the enslaved.

Only a garbage person would even entertain the question, let alone come to the conclusion that there was.
Or one who isn't so consumed with prejudice...
It's not enlightened to be so afraid of entertaining questions. That's how we challenge ourselves and learn more about the world we live in.
@volkris I am sorry to have offended you with my prejudice against human slavery and its apologists. I will try to be more open-minded about this massive, exploitive, and unspeakably cruel system in the future.
