When I had the chance to interview Dr. Peniel Joseph, a history professor at UTAustin, I asked him if SB17, the law banning #DEI initiatives, made him consider leaving Texas. He said, he wasn’t leaving. “Texas is ground zero for these fights.” I respect that answer and I wonder if I would give the same one.

It's a sword that cuts both ways.
@volkris I agree. And the same goes for OBGYN doctors who choose to leave states with restrictive abortion laws. (I posted an article about that too.) Its a very personal decision.
