The institutions of democracy are based on an assumption that reasonable people can compromise on reasonable solutions. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. It is time that these institutions recognize and adapt to the reality that small minorities will deliberately sabotage government, the economy, and our safety to give themselves disproportionate power. #cspanwj #politics #USpolitics
