All the Dems have to do is keep voting for Jeffries.
There might even be a nonzero chance of them not accomplishing anything else between now and the next House election.
They’re certainly not going to vote in a definite kidnapper and trafficker of minors, like Matt Gaetz, to the Speakership, so who’s the alternative?
