Two positions have opened up on the USPS Board of Governors—the only people with authority to fire Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.
Forces that stand to profit from further privatization, service cuts, and price hikes at the USPS are aggressively pressuring President Biden to fill those positions.
President Biden can—and should—fill both positions with people who actually care about protecting the Post Office and getting rid of DeJoy.

Email is not post.
Mission creep would serve to draw resources away from the core mission of the organization that is already experiencing trouble accomplishing its responsibilities.
The USPS has enough difficulties in front of it without asking it to do a whole bunch more stuff that it isn't tasked to do as it is.
@Karen5Lund sure it would be nice if the USPS could digitally deliver this Christmas sweater to my mom, but that's just not realistic 🙂
There's been so much misinformation about the USPS and DeJoy personally, and it's pretty unfortunate.
@volkris @Karen5Lund without a better vision, were more likely to have people like deJoy in charge.
@volkris @guacamayan It would be nice if USPS could provide some kind of digital delivery, but lets get back to where they can deliver a simple first class letter in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable cost before we expand their mission.
With de Joy in charge I wouldn't trust them with my email anyhow.
