"Mainstream" Republicans have done NOTHING to dissuade their party from these acts, they dutifully vote as commanded by the Reich.

Ultra-right-wing fascists are the party, they are still receiving unquestioning support from Republican voters.
The only Republicans not seeking reelection due to lack of support are the (slightly) more moderate members.
