People are skating around the real problem with the #Substack #Nazi admissions. Substack's admission that they are fine with paying Nazis is not really new: they've admitted it before. So why don't all the Substack writers move to technically equally good or better platforms? It's because Substack secretly pays some writers to write, and those other platforms don't. That was the subject of an earlier Substack scandal.

People who mysteriously stay who have a large audience are getting paid off, and that, to them, outweighs being on a Nazi supporting platform.

@RichPuchalsky Don't discount the possibility that other people don't have the same values that you do and they aren't subscribed to your crusade.

It may well be that other people aren't paid to stay on substack. It's just that they don't care about the things you care about, so they don't care about this.

I wouldn't.
