The frequency with which #tumblr deletes accounts, severing conversations and friendships is worse than the #fediverse
Like the fedi gets a lot of bad rap, but my gosh have you seen tumblr?
Is it any wonder no one wants to pay for a yearly subscription to tumblr?

@dans_root @photomatt nope! The queer & kinky community has remained constant throughout, just with more fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
The level of trust that the kinky and probably queer community has in tumblr is basically zero.
We use it because that's where our community is, and we've no other options. That's why I'm so excited for tumblr to implement activitypub, so we don't have to deal with that.
Is there any particular problem with Fetlife other than the normal chicken and egg problem of that's not where the group is?
