The second #impeachment and the special Jan6 committee established what happened. It was insurrection. No one can reasonably deny that #Trump encouraged and supported the rioters on Capitol Hill. Among them was the well-organized group dedicated to disrupting the count of electoral votes. That is insurrection. The rioters were pawns, but important pawns in the plan. I am ashamed and distressed to see #SCOTUS and Americans equivocating about this clear and present danger to our #democracy.

@meltedcheese The problem is that there is so much on the record to debunk the claims of the impeachment and the committee.

Yes, if you just settle into the echo chamber around the committee you might be convinced by it, but so many people have a broader world view and recognize the many ways its deliverables were misleading at best.

Sometimes politicians lie. This is one of those times.

@volkris No, there is no such exculpatory evidence. That you would claim this after all that has transpired is astonishing. Since you write coherent sentences, I must rule out general stupidity. That makes you an agent of deliberate disinformation. Good bye. You are blocked.

@meltedcheese you say there is no such exculpatory evidence, but we can see it with our own eyes, so to say otherwise just comes across as gaslighting.
