I don't know who needs to hear this but no, all politicians are not like Trump.

I can't believe we still have to hear anything resembling "that's just how politicians talk" with regards to TFG at this point.

"If somebody shows you who they are, believe them" is apparently too difficult to grasp.

Also, if all politicians were, in fact, like that it would be an entirely new level of disaster. It's not a justification for brushing off his malicious & insane behavior.

It reminds of Federalist 51 where Hamilton (maybe) laid out the reason for designing a government that could function even with bad people involved.
